Avoid large meals
Eat small meals through out the day, remember to always be seated in a upright position when eating to avoid reflux
Most importantly stay hydrated remember it is important to take small sips of water through out the day rather than flooding your system with water, your body is more likely to absorb the water. It can also be beneficial to avoid drinking any fluid with your meals as it can dilute the food in you stomach and make it much harder to digest.
